Our owner and head trainer is Maureen O’Brien-Cruz

To know about us, we would love to introduce you to our head trainer. Originally from Scotland, Maureen moved to Chicago in 2013 and soon after brought home her beloved dogs Fitz and Bingley. Ever since, she has worked tirelessly for them to have their best city-dog lives. It became clear, quickly, that city dogs have different needs and that not every guardian has the background to navigate those needs. Learn more about our city dogs program here.
After years of volunteering at Chicago’s Anti-Cruelty Society, it was apparent that many dogs end up in shelters and many are returned after adoption, because the dog’s guardians felt overwhelmed by the training needs. From this, Fetch My Manners was born to support people who want to enjoy life with a dog but don’t know where to start. From there, we developed into supporting people in training their dogs for all kinds of behaviors, from the simple to the advanced, let us help you reach your goals.
